Poll for a Knight of the Shire for West Riding of Yorkshire 1835



On Monday May 11th and Tuesday May 12th 1835. Taken by Richard Henry Roundell, Esq. High Sheriff of the County of York and his deputies.

Candidates: The Right Honourable George William Frederick Howard (commonly called Lord Viscount Morpeth) and The Honourable John Stuart Wortley.

Lord Morpeth won by a majority of 2807
